Tell Me About Adventure Offroad Training

Richard is a Cert IV trainer and assessor and holds a Senior First Aid Certificate. He previously held the position of head trainer for another leading 4WD training organisation and has many years experience of four wheel driving. He has trained many hundreds of people in both nationally accredited and recreational courses.

Born in the UK, Richard spent his younger years growing up on farms where by the time he was eight he was driving Landrovers and farm tractors. This childhood experience spawned his love of all things 4WD and off-road. Since then, 4WDs and four wheel driving have become not just a passion but a way of life! Richard modified and customised his first 4WD, a Toyota Hilux, at the age of 19. This later led him to become involved professionally in building and modifying 4WDs for off-road racing and expedition. Richard has vast experience in driving off road, competing in various forms of off road racing.

Richard's extensive off-road driving experience, combined with his knowledge of vehicles at a component level, gives him a unique perspective and the edge over others training in the industry.
